Beautiful images, the red coat is really striking! Especially love the black and white shot of the waterfall.

Hannah and Darren

Thomas – Thank you so much for capturing such a special time in our lives :o ) You made us feel so relaxed during the shoot that all our pre-wedding photo nerves have now gone. We are thrilled with our pictures and so looking forward to our wedding day confident that we are in safe hands with you. Thank you so much again x

What a fabulous set. The lens flare shots and tilt/shift work is really striking. Bravo!

Beautiful. I LOVE the black and white in front of the gate, and the far away shot at the river!

What an adorable couple! Love the black and white shot near the end in front of the big tree.

Beautiful couple, great photos. Love that b&w in front of the tree :)

Adorable couple! I love the 6th one down and the last one.

The black and white one of them up against the cast iron fence belongs in a magazine….or on a wall. Seriously!

Love how Hannah’s jacket pops against all of the backgrounds. Great work all around.

Wow that image in front of the tree!! Wow!

What a cute couple!! Love their emotion.

That tree and the little cottage by the waterfall – are you KIDDING me? Awesome.

So romantic…I just love the tones here. Well done!

This might be one of my favorite engagement sessions ever. I love the transitions between the different environments, and your use of color and tilt/shift is brilliant. I want to see more.

WOW! I’m speechless! I love the light, the location and how well you capture their love!

Awesome, love the rich colours, the locations, and the tilt/shift shot by the waterfall is amazing!

Wow – a really stunning set in such a beautiful part of the world – I used to go to school there and didn’t appreciate my surroundings half as much as I should!

Awesome set of pictures. Gorgeous color. Bit of everything. Flare. Backlight. Soft light. Tilt-shift. Romance. Arty. Different backdrops. Liked best the doorway shots, nice set of posed, fun, tenderness.

Your images are really stunning, I especially like the Black and White images they are great

Inspirational stuff, really great set full of creativity and exceptional skill! Love the processing, posing and general feel of the photos, bravo!

Beautiful work there, some intense DOF in some of those!

A great looking couple and location to match. I realy like the shots by the waterfall.

Well, you certainly had it easy with these two Thomas!
Really looking forward to seeing their wedding.

JO AND MARK’S WEDDING, HIGHCLIFFE CASTLE by Kendal Wedding Photographer

An overcast start, becoming torrential rain, followed later on by glorious sunshine. Such would have been the correct forecast for the day of Jo and Mark’s amazing wedding. It all went towards making up the brilliant tapestry of events that became Jo and Mark’s day. After stops at Canford Magna Golf Club and the Captain’s Club in Christchurch, we arrived at the beautiful Highcliffe Castle for the ceremony and reception. Thanks Phill Allen for having me along and thanks Jo and Mark for letting me capture your special day!

LAURA AND KEITH, Castle Green Hotel Kendal, Cumbria, Wedding photographs

It was a great experience capturing Laura and Keith’s wedding. They are such a fun, relaxed couple with a great bunch of friends and family who really loved the day’s events. The ceremony was held at St Marks church in Natland before everybody moved on to the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal for a fine meal and reception.

No comments… people must be crazy!

These are cracking shots mate. Good idea with the post box and loving the prep image of the guy in the background doing the ‘Transformers point’ (if thats not whats he doing then thats some unique cufflink moves). The kids through the gate made me laugh too :-)

Kate Hackett

These are truly amazing wedding photographs, some of the best I have seen!! I especially love the shot of my shoes :) there are some great shots of the children, many creative shots and love the ones through the window!! you are very talented and have captured some great moments throughout the day… Laura and Keith must be so pleased !!

What a beautiful place to have the opportunity to shoot at!

I love all of the shots with the flower girls and ring bearers! They look like they were a hoot.

Great storytelling here, love your bridal prep shots. Really good!

All I can really say is that they must be totally stoked on these images. You captured the day wonderfully.

Looks like a really really fun wedding!

Love the splashes of color, the kids at the gate pre-ceremony, and the smiles and laughs throughout – you captured some really beautiful, genuine happy moments here! nicely done.

Lots of gems here. Great moments, great emotions, and a fantastic day. Great job.

I love everything about this wedding. So many great moments captured. Nice work.

Awesome collection of images. Really like the way you see. Laura and Keith, you two look amazing!

Love the post box shoe shots!

Looks like it was a fantastic day amongst fantastic people Thomas. Your coverage is more solid than solid could be and there’s a constant stream of images with impact and pizzaz in there! Brilliant job.

So many really lovely photographs. Love the guys getting ready – true men with a motorbike in the lounge. You’ve captured the kids having fun throughout, but the real stunner for me is the black and white B & G dance image at the end. Beautiful.

Great set, the kids are just darling.

I love love love the sunflowers!!

Such a beautiful and happy wedding. I love happy weddings!

Wow, that is a simply beautiful location. I love all of your wonderful candids, especially the couple being tossed with the petals!

Those far away sunset shots are money dude. Canvases for every one of them.

Wow – I’m blown away by these! The photograph of her whispering in his ear during the ceremony is SO well done. What a great spot! Those sunset shots are killer too.

Good grief, what an amazing location for a wedding! I laughed at that shot of the wedding dress shoes with all the other shoes. The shot of them getting showered in petals is great but the best are the sunset pictures. Stunning.

sunset silhouette and the last shot are my fav :)

What a gorgeous venue and beautiful photos! The sunset shots are amazing.

Amazing! nuff said.

Thanks everyone, really appreciated! Thomas

Amazing set of shots, and a few we hadn’t seen yet. Thanks so much again Thomas. What a team the pair of you made, you have provided us with memories that will be cherished forever.

You really are up there with the rest of them Tom, can’t really reiterate that enough. The way you manage to capture things makes me green – honestly so jealous of your skills :)

Fresh, timeless, and just stinking beautiful. Every one of ‘em.

Wedding Photography in Cumbria, Laura and Keith’s engagement photographs

The Lake District weather was true to it’s form for this little trip to Lake Windermere. But Laura and Keith more than made up for the rain with their bright smiles and cheery personalities. They’ll be getting married in Natland and celebrating at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal at the end of October.

Jo and Ben’s Wedding, Hatfield House

The action started for Ben and his groomsmen at the White Hart in Welwyn. Next we moved on to the pretty St. Etheldreda’s church for Jo and Ben’s wedding ceremony, which is just next to Hatfield House, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I. Now it was home to Jo and Ben’s wedding reception which was held in and around the beautiful red brick Tudor Old Hall and knot garden.

School Knott, Windermere

School Knott is a gentle walk; from the top you can look down on Windermere town and lake, and across to the Langdale Pikes. The word Knott is of Cumbric origin and means ‘hill’. On the way up is a nice little tarn called, you guessed it, School Knott tarn.

Jasmine

Little five month old Jasmine was sooo good for these photographs. She is a happy soul, bright as a button and very talkative, just like her mum! When she wasn’t fascinated by the camera or smiling at mum, she was watching the birdies out of the window.

I really like your photographic style – and you have captured the beauty of those all so precious baby moments – the smallness, those lovely big baby eyes…just beautiful!

Michael Kuszpit

Love the way you have photographed these. Especially love the expression on the black and white one that is the fifth one down. Really brings out the reflection on those eyes. Good work.
